Benefits of meditation

New students will often ask about the benefits of meditation and energy healing. In order to provide my students and friends with a clear understanding of the benefits they can expect from meditating, I have prepared this document.

The benefits of meditation can be broken down into two subgroups – its emotional and mental aspects, and its physical benefits.

Benefits for the Mind:

  3. Increase your ability to concentrate
  4. Learn the skill of self-observing (the first step to self-improvement)
  5. Gain ability to suspend logical thought processes and control your emotions through this technique
  6. Decrease stress levels at work and home

  1. Improve respiration
  2. Change your metabolism
  3. Control your heart rate
  4. Lower your blood pressure
  5. Improve brain chemistry
